Please use the information below to help plan your visit.

• Opening Times

  In 2026 Rokeby Park will be open on Monday May 4th (Early May Bank Holiday); Monday May 25th (Spring Bank Holiday) and Tuesday May 26th; and then every Monday and Tuesday from Monday June 1st to Tuesday September 1st.

  Opening times from 2-5pm with last admission at 4.30pm.

  There is no need to pre-book.

  HHA members Free

  Children under 16 Free

• Groups

  Group visits of up to 60 are available by appointment on any weekday afternoon during the open months. Pre-booked
  guided tours, usually in groups of 15, take around 1.5 hours.

• How to Find Us

  Rokeby Park is located 3 miles south east of Barnard Castle on the north side of A66 between Al(M) and Bowes
  in Teesdale, County Durham.

• Parking

  Please follow the signs to the
  car park at the stables.

• Access

  The house is a few minutes walk from the stable car park. Less able visitors can park at the front of the house.
  Wheelchair access is to the ground floor only.
  There is a toilet on the ground floor.

• Photography

  Photography is not allowed in the house.

• Dogs

  Please note that dogs, other than Assistance Dogs, are not allowed in the house or grounds.
